Save and Print Information from the Internet

The information on the Internet is downloaded into the client or user computer. The information is stored into the RAM of computer and is erased (cleared) when computer is turned off. You can store the downloaded information of web page on the disk of your computer for future use.

To save the information of page on the disk, follow these steps.

• Download information from web page through Internet Explorer (or Netscape navigator).
• Select "Save" or "Save As" from the File menu, save web page dialog box appears as shown below.
• Select other option like, file type etc. if required.
• Click “Save” button of dialog box.

Saving Picture from Web Page

You can also save the specific image or picture contained in web page into a separate file on the disk. To save the picture or image contained in web page, follow these steps.

• Download the web page.
• Right click on the picture you want to save on the disk.
• Select "Save Picture As" command from the popup menu.

Printing Web Page Information

You can also print the information of web page on the printer attached to the computer. The selected information, specified range of pages or information of entire web page can be printed.

To print the information of page on the printer attached to the computer, follow these steps.

• Select "Print" from File menu, Print dialog box appears.
• Select your choice from dialog box and click "Ok" button.

OR

• Click “Print” button on the Toolbar.

Copy & Paste Information

You can also copy the selected information of web page to the clipboard and paste it into any Windows application like Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint etc. To copy and paste information of web page, follow these steps.

• Download the web page.
• Select the required information from page by dragging with mouse or select all information of page by selecting "Select All" command from Edit menu.
• Select "Copy" from Edit menu or select "Copy" from popup menu.
• Open the application program where you want to paste the information. For example open Word document and select "Paste" command.
