How to share files and folders?

How to share files and folder over network? Sharing of Files and Folders is very easy on Microsoft Windows XP. If your computer is on network and you want to share your files and folders with other users of network then you must share your folder. Here are the steps to share folder over network.

1. Right click on Folder.

2. Click on “Sharing and Security” option.

Folder Properties

3. Select “Share this folder” option.

Note: If you want to set write permissions for network users then click on “Permissions” button. After set write permissions network users can copy their files into this folder and can delete files and folders in this folder.
