How to access network computer?

How to access shared files and folders over network If you are on network and want to access other network computers and their Files/Folders (If they shared) then you need to know their computers name or computer IP address. Via computer name of computer IP address you can access files. here are the details

How to get my computer name
01. Click on “Start” menu.
02. Click on “Run Command”.
03. Type “cmd” (without quotes) and press Enter.
04. Windows XP “Command Prompt” utility will appear.
- a. Type command “HostName” (without quotes).
Your computer name will appear.

Access other computers
To access other computers you should know their names. now here are the steps..
01. Click on “Start” menu.
02. Click on “Run Command”.
03. Type “\IPAddress or ComputerName” and press Enter.

After this process target computer will open and you can see shared folders and access their files.
